Afterpay was producing thousands of assets annually, but we were patching gaps with generated content and stock imagery that shaping how we felt as a brand: disjointed. I saw an opportunity: what if we built our own library? Something that didn't just fill the gaps, but elevated our entire visual language.

I wrote the brief and pitched the shoot. Got funding from both the creative and brand team and even doubled the content and licensing terms.

The goal: create an evergreen image library that embodies "In the Know"- our brand idea. Content that reflects time, freedom, and authenticity - the core of our product offering.

150 photos.
75 short-form videos.

Visual Treatments

Micro/macro

Tight crops of micro-moments, they show the detail of the product, person, place without revealing too much. Leaving the rest to the imagination.

Lifestyle stories

Where talent interact with the environment, naturally.

Product narrative

Spotlighting products as part of a larger story - so we’re not focusing too much on only the product but the narrative that it adds value to.

Motion & flow

Where models are in movement, either walking through a city or engaging with products in a way that feels authentic and unforced - but interesting.

Inclusive

Showing a diverse range of people, ensuring that the content feels representative of our broad audience.

Regionally and seasonally agnostic for global use. Cross-category content with product storytelling.

Licenced for 24 months in Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand and the UK.
